By checking the list.

It is perhaps what you are used to?
I am really speaking of supply chains where you get almost 1:1 (and e.g. if
not 1:1, you can find easily the deviation, because the supplier tells you
explicitely and keeps track of the discrepance).
I can't tell how wide-spread those suppliers are, but I clearly prefer those in
my own business...;)
