I understand it is not currently implemented because it is a POC
but my question is: can those attributes be implemented?

yes they can

So for me it is a very good thing that SAO is responsive out of the
box.

Vanilla sao won't be responsive because the GTK client is not
responsive.

But I guess that splitting the stylesheet in two parts, one
implementing the default behavior ; another one implemeting the
responsive stuffs is possible, isn't it?

If so then people that want this behavior will have the opportunity to
modify index.html in order to "import" this part of the stylesheet
(just like NaNtic does in order to customize the look of sao).

BTW, could you create a codereview for your patch?

Yes, if there is an interest for the feature I will create a
codereview

I think there were several people interested in this in last TUB and
you can expect some help from NaN·tic. Not right now, but hopefully
in the near future, so for us a codereview would be great.

It would be interesting to know other's point of view, provided gtk
client compatibility can be kept.

According to me if we can achieve through CSS the exact same behavior
as the GTK client then it is a very nice addition. Emma's work is
probably a good step in this direction. Is it fully doable, I don't
know as I am not a CSS guru.
