I need to manage the scenario where I order products from a supplier as a "Pack of 10" but after receipt I want to store them under a different part number as 10 individual units. I consume the individual products in BOMs... and I do not want to have to specify 0.1 pack instead of 1 unit!
How can I manage this in Tryton? The only way I can think of is to use a BOM and Production to convert 1off pack of Product A into 10off individual Product B. I think this would work, but seems cumbersome and long-winded. Is there a better way, more suited to packs of products received into stock? The pack part number is different from the individual product part number. Thanks, Paul
