We are using Lot to manage individual Product serial numbers, both for
purchased items and form manufactured items. For supplier shipments we can
use the Split module to divide batches into individual products with serial
numbers, but in Inventories the Split button is not available. Any thoughts
on the best way to manage inventories to a unique serial-numbered-product
level of detail? e.g. if I do a stock-take and I have a discrepancy in
quantity, how do I move to Lost and Found the correct 'missing' serial
number?
