If I do not change the name (keep sale.sale on the duplicate record) I no longer get the error - thanks. But my new reports do not show. I get the correct entries in "Open Report" but, the new report always shows sale.pdf - the report loaded in the standard Sale report position. If I try to edit the name of "Sale" in reports, I get <<write_xml_record>> <<xml_record_desc>>. You told me before that "Ha yes, standard report are protected against modification. " (when I was asking about Style sheet). Is this same protection stopping me from adding extra reports and forcing the sale module to only a use Sale.pdf?? Thanks, Paul
