what budget?

Here a narrative description of venues, social meetings and the
quarters involved:

The HTWK is situated in the quarter Südvorstadt. This quarter is the the
older "cool" part of Leipzig with a lot of bars and clubs. On Friday we
will have the dinner in this quarter. The street where everything
happens is Karl-Liebknecht-Straße - we are saying
"Adolf-Südknecht-Straße" - because the of the historicals names:
Südstraße (geographical), Adolf-Hitler-Straße (political),
Karl-Liebknecht-Straße (political again)

The new cool is Plagwitz. This was a quarter for workers and now the
creative scene changes to this quarter because of cheap rents and a lot
of space to realize projects. On Saturday we have the dinner in this
quarter and on Sunday we do the sprints there. The street where
everything happens is Karl-Heine-Straße.

Between this two quarters there is the city of Leipzig with all the
things you possibly wanna see - churches, museums, city hall, Auerbachs
Keller and so on. We will have the meet and greet on Thursday in this
quarter at Gottschedstraße. There are bars as well and this location is
only chosen because I live there ;). It would be nice if everybody can
give me an advice who want to join - so I can block some tables. If not,
we need to hang up behind the counter which is nice as well. Both
quarters above are not far away - like everything is not far away in
Leipzig.

So if you stay in the middle of the town the distance to the venues is:

From the middle of the Market to HTWK: 3,6 km
From the middle of the Market to Sublab: 3,2 km

From HTWK to Sublab - 4,8 km if you walk through the inner city parks
and forests.

But there is also a good public transport and a bicycle rental (depends
on weather).

This are the 3 quarters you should search for an accommodation. I think
it would be nice if you talk to other people where they have booked. And
always feel free to ask me if your have doubts about a possible hotel.
