I just used hg nclone http://hg.tryton.org/4.0/trytond hg nclone http://hg.tryton.org/tryton to get initial versions and later used hg npull to update. Curretnly they are both fully ahead and version of the client is 4.0.3 and version of the server is 4.1.0. I don't know why the versions are different and they obviously work together.
