I just got two new Dell SC420 servers with the Adaptec ASC-39320B (9005:8095) SCSI cards. I am trying to install Trustix onto these machines. Trustix notices the card, and loads aic79xx, however, it then tells me that it can not find any hard drives. I have the HostRAID turned off, so I know this is not conflicting (however, I did turn it on once, so I don't know if this did anything lasting). Are they any parameters I need to send to the module to get it to notice the hard drives?
Also, these servers have the Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme BCM5751 Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express (rev 01) with PCI ID 14e4:1677, which I don't see in the hardware list. Has anyone had any luck getting this to work? I see the posts on the list, however, I have not tested them yet, so it may work... but I need the SCSI hard drives to work first. Thanks, -- Jason C.
