What would be really cool is a 'gentoo'ish trustix where you choose your optimization and arch flags at install. The install would compile each srpm according to those flags, and later a modified swup would download and complile source rpms with the same system flags before installing them.

I can do it if there's some interest, but I'm still confused on how to automate such build process, Trustix Peepz help appreciated ;) As we are talking about, I'm using -grsec kernels and added some (in my opinion) nice patchs, I'll be pleased to maintain a grsec kernel and maybe a desktop version kernel, but I need help on building kernel rpms... ...mmm ok maybe I'm talking too much ... cheers Fremen > > I'm not new to Linux, but I am new to the 64-bit Linux world, so any > helpful advice or pointers would be appreciated.
