I have finally gotten the system working. I reinstalled, but this time
using Grub. Before I booted the system, I went into rescue mode (via
"rescue dd"), the chrooted over. I copied the compiled version of
aic79xx.o into the approriate module directory. I then recreated the
initrd image. Exit and reboot, and voila, it works. Thank you all for
your help. I will also be posting the files and the disk image that I
used on my website and put the links here for anyone else who needs help
with this.

I am also wondering about CP+. It looks like a great system. It makes me
want to upgrade my Trustix 2.1 boxes as soon as possible. However, I
have one question... what is the user name and password? I have tried
root and admin along with my root password. Neither seem to work. Also,
everwhere I look, this program is for sale. Is this a GPL version that
Trustix installs? Will I need a key to activate it?

Thank you,
Jason
