I've been using Trustix for a while now, and really enjoy it.. However, one thing concerns me... a while back it was announced that Trustix will no longer be available to freely download, and support for it would then soon stop. Yet now I have just seen that Trustix 2.2 has been released, again as free download. Could someone please explain what is going on?

It seems a very mixed message, as at one time we were all going to be dropped in favour of 'commercial interests' to which a few peeps vowed to continue supporting it even though Trustix weren't, and now Trustix come along and release 2.2...

I seriously hope that nothing of the sort is going to happen; that Trustix is here to stay officially, as finding worthy distros these days is nigh on impossible... All too often there is either too much, too little or the setup is just plain barmy...

Kind Regards,
Ian
