Hi all,

I'm having troubles with mod_auth_dbm for Apache. This is the configuration for
the
directory where I use it:

<Directory /home/httpd/sites/Webmail/overmail_admin>
AuthAuthoritative Off
AuthType Basic
AuthName "Restricted Access"
AuthDBMUserFile /usr/local/etc/httpd/passwords
Require user mail_admin
</Directory>

The authentication is not working and this is what I have in Apache's error log:

[Tue Mar 22 17:53:17 2005] [error] [client 82.191.92.18] (2)No such file or
directory:
could not open dbm (type default) auth file: /usr/local/etc/httpd/passwords

Now, the file exists and just to be sure it's owned by httpd with 777
permissions. I also
checked if the dbm file was corrupted, but it's ok:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] /usr/local/etc/httpd# dbmmanage passwords check mail_admin
Enter password:
crypt password ok

Suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Silvano Luciani
