chkconfig --level 3 dhcpd on

it don't want to run.. it says sth like dont know
on what device it shoult listen..

Hey, if we made sys admin as easy as you want it to be, all those 'man page' writers would be pushed out of work.

From 'man dhcpd':

"COMMAND LINE

The names of the network interfaces on which dhcpd should
listen for broadcasts may be specified on the command line. This
should be done on systems where dhcpd is unable to identify
non-broadcast interfaces, but should not be required on other systems.
If no interface names are specified on the command line dhcpd will
identify all network interfaces which are up, elimininating
non-broadcast interfaces if possible, and listen for DHCP broadcasts
on each interface."

You might also have to specify subnet sections for your networks
in /etc/dhcpd.conf -- see 'man dhcpd.conf' and also the Trustix wiki page

http://doc.trustix.org/cgi-bin/trustixdoc.cgi?DHCP

In Trustix, you can edit /etc/sysconfig/dhcpd
to control what args get passed to dhcpd at boot time.
