One of my servers have done exactly that three times now, for no apparent reason. It messes up a lot of database stuff I've got running, so if there's a fix for it, I would love to hear it. :o)
I'm using time-a.nist.gov as timeserver. I query this server at 09:00 every day.
I can find no pattern as to why this happens. So far it has happened at 12:12, 03:44 and at 06:03.
This particular server is running Apache, Postfix, MySQL, Webmin and Courier. It is by no means a busy server. It probably handles around 200 mb traffic divided between web and email per day. I've never seen load go above 0.10 using $ top.
I hope someone can help.
