Hi
I've got two computers running TSL-2: 1 - master 2 - backup/replication
On the master I've got a mysql database which is getting quite large. A few days ago the backupserver had a 'hickup' and now I've got to transfer complete image of the mysql database to the backupserver before I can continue the replication.
I thought I could just use ftp and copy over the files, but it seems it won't handle files larger than 2GB. Three of the files are 4, 6 and 10GB. Of these files only 2GB was transferred and no error message was displayed.
The master server uses proftpd. And I've tried both the regular ftp client and ncftp on the backupserver.
So how does people transfer large files? :)

I personally use Rsync. It's easy, fast and reliable. :o)
