Thank's for replaing Olaf and Barbara,
the so is Trustix2.2 with newer kernel and packages (upgraded from trustix2.1 one month ago)
hardware is a desktop IBM with Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.66GHz
I noticed clock was faster (15 minutes an hour) but sometimes it hangs in the way I described, system is unusable and must be rebooted.
I will look next time clock will hangs to see what Barbara had noticed..
Thank's all for replaing..
ciao, Pierluigi

hi everybody
in one of my Trustix server I have this problem from 2-3 days.

Trustix 2.2 or 3.0? (-> Kernel 2.4 / 2.6)
Single CPU or SMP System?
Any special hardware?

I've seen clocks running slower than others (most times when doing a lot kernel
work with locked interrupts), but *never*ever* run backwards. Thats really strange.
