It seems there are many of us using both monitoring programs & trustix.
This is an invitation to build contrib packages of what we use :-) Having a swupable package would make evaluation easier. A wiki contrib would also be handy. Personally, I've been using NMIS for a while, and I've been always installing on TSL. Since our network is growing, and now NMIS support a sort of distributed polling, I have to deploy many servers to keep up everything running. RPM would make my life easier. I'll start packaging everything by he beginning of next week (including perl cpan prerequisites). As usual, it will be avalaible "when it will be ready" :-) (I'm busy in making such servers even redundant, so I have some heartbeat and drdb contrib to build, too).
