Interesting approach.
What kind of services would you want to run on 3.0rc2 ?
I would guess that running single services as bind, or other services
without dependencies (not http/php/mysql/cron combinations) could be
considered safe if needed.
hey, other distros release release candidates as CDs, just because
the marketing dep. is going to CeBIT. (SuSE8.2 a.k.a. SuSE9.0rc5 anyone?
Config assistants were mostly broken, b/c it was a transistion like
trustix 2 to trustix 3, changing installers and bits, b/c in the
preperation of the 9.0 launch.)
But it couldn't be long, so I will wait, before I put my first
production 3.0 machine.
