First off, don't reply to a message when starting a new thread (you have done this twice and it breaks threading clients). Secondly you should have replied to your original email if you desperately needed to bump your questions. > Questions: > > 1. is Trustix a good and scalable choice ? Yes. > 2. is the ADSL installation supported? PPPoE is supported, if that is your question. > 3. I am worried because I searched for IPv6 in google on the site. No result. http://www.google.no/search?q=ipv6+site%3Atrustix.org tunrs up 238 hits? > 4. I tested Trustix a few years ago and one of the interesting thing was a > simple, clear, neat installation guide. I looked on the site: there is > nothing anymore? Not sure what you need or are looking for. I find the install intuitive enough. Are you looking for a system administrators guide? > 5. the partners page is also empty. my project is part of a deployment of > real possible magnitude (it is a non-profit test to stay free in my work > and choices). But I may need some professional help on occasion, is some > available? This is the free mailing list of TSL. Some of the Trustix employees offer support and replies here and a lot of users (like me) give and take advise from the list. If you are looking for 'professional'/official support I suggest you contact the Trustix sales team. That said, Linux is Linux. Even though you install TSL you can find help elsewhere and if you are stuck with a specific program you can look for communities dealing with that exact tool for expertise. I run several TSL servers and manage just fine with the support I get from the community on this list. My boss seems happy too ;) Back to your original question on IPv6: I haven't tested, but judging from the ammount of IPv6 tools availible I would think TSL is ready for IPv6. _______________________________________________ tsl-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.trustix.org/mailman/listinfo/tsl-discuss
