hi all, i've a question about kernel update&swup i've updated my kernel system to 2.4.31-3tr like shown
swup --install kernel-source --ignore-filter cd /usr/src/kernel-2.4.31-3tr make mrproper make oldconfig make dep clean bzImage make modules modules_install cp /usr/src/linux/arch/i386/boot/bzImage /boot/vmlinuz-2.4.31-3tr cp /usr/src/linux/System.map /boot/System.map-2.4.31-3tr mkinitrd /boot/initrd-2.4.31-3tr.img 2.4.31-3tr i've created sym links in /boot for new kernel i've updated grub.conf file init 6 ( the system restart correctly, after login show me the new kernel version ) but when i check the system update status with swup --list-upgrade --ingnore-filter this is the answer kernel-source (2.4.31-3tr vs. 2.4.30-4tr) kernel (2.4.31-3tr vs. 2.4.27-8tr) is there something wrong in my procedure?...any ideas? thanks a lot lore -- Pino Maiuli Crew -- Email.it, the professional e-mail, gratis per te: http://www.email.it/f Sponsor: Jamba: Personalizza il tuo cellulare con la Rana Pazza! * La prima suoneria รจ GRATIS!
