The brackets do not really exist in the script; I've used them  
([====) to better describe to you beginning and end
of the script.

Sorry for misurunderstanding: I would mean the time needed to launch  
the process on the server.
 From a client point of view the speed is acceptable.

If you start and stop some other service on the server (httpd, sshd,  
etc...) the launch is immediate.
launching atalk, the time is considerably longer....that's the problem.
