if your installation is rather static, there is none, until end of  
life for tsl2.2 is reached (which is rather long compared to the  
estimated MTBF of your p2 box.

BUT if you compile this or that program yourself, what to use new  
features in packages updated in tsl3,
then there is your chance to get 2.6 kernel, and lots of other  
software (gcc) in a new version.
