been around for maybe 6 years or so, which is pretty convincing. 

ReiserFS is pretty good when you look at its development, but there are

issues where it cannot handle large files that well. Different people
different experiences
i guess. Then there are speed issues targeted at it. 

There are other filesystems, and there is just too much to criticize as
well as applaud.

Finally the most you hear is.. " My hardware crashed and thats all the
because of the _____
filesystem.. better switch now !" :)

So take your pick and stick on to what you feel is good. My View!
