I'm stuck with those postfix & cyrus IMAP in redhat as well as trustix Linux , so posting here , hoping to get some help from you :(
With the trustix Linux ( 2.2 stable ) , I install full version , then following steps are : With the imap.conf I change : sasl_pwcheck_method: saslauthd With the main.cf of postfix I change : mailbox_transport = cyrus fallback_transport = cyrus Then create user mail box by using cyradm , set password by saslpasswd2 for that user , # service cyrus start # service saslauthd start but when trying to use mailclient to connect , It could not authenticate with the password I use saslpasswd2 to add , then I have to add a system use and set password to it , everything is work . I could not understand why I can't authenticate with the password I set with the saslpasswd2 ?
