No I don't talk about version - just about php apps requires. Now all apps require mod_php package but can work with other php SAPI! "virtual" php-engine is more neutral than mod_php. And user may install any php SAPI that he want. If we add versioning (like php4-engine/php5-engine) this can be more flexible for apps - for example, some apps don't work with php4, but I can't see this apps in TSL :) That's all I have to say.
