Hi list!
I have a problem and searched some time with google and man ....
My /var/log/messages has 213Mb, it is a small Firewall and runs since
last summer. It is Trustix 2.1 updatet.
Logrotate works for other files not for "messages".
If I try to add
/var/log/messages {
monthly
rotate 12
}
to /etc/logrotate.conf it says "double entry for /var/log/messages"
I try to find things Trustix-related and Linux-related but did not find
a solution...
I will keep on searching but ask the list though....
