Hi,

I'm trying to get my Samba set-up to join with our current Windows
network. And I'm able to join fine..

/etc/samba# net ads join -U WINDOWS_USER
WINDOWS_USER's password:
[2005/08/30 10:40:26, 0] libads/ldap.c:ads_add_machine_acct(1405)
ads_add_machine_acct: Host account for HOSTNAME already exists -
modifying old account
Using short domain name -- DOMAIN
Joined 'HOSTNAME' to realm 'DOMAIN'
/etc/samba# wbinfo -t
checking the trust secret via RPC calls failed
error code was NT_STATUS_INTERNAL_ERROR (0xc00000e5)
Could not check secret

I've purposely changed some of the output from my console:

WINDOWS_USER, HOSTNAME, DOMAIN are all valid.

I just keep on getting error code was NT_STATUS_INTERNAL_ERROR
(0xc00000e5). This is from a fresh install of Trustix 2.2.

Would appreciate any pointers.

Thanks a lot.

Cheers,

John Clark
