Can you please expand on the above?  When you say "create a new RAID 
array" do you mean that it is necessary to set up the TSL 2.2 install to 
use software raid?  This does not make sense to me as the purpose of the 
Compaq SMART array controller is to present a hardware RAID array to the 
OS as a single hardware device.  At least this is the way that it works 
on RedHat 9.0.
