Package description:
anaconda
The anaconda package contains portions of the Trustix Secure Linux
installation program which can then be run by the user for
reconfiguration and advanced installation options.
Based on Red Hat anaconda 7.2 and 7.3
cvs
CVS (Concurrent Version System) is a version control system that can
record the history of your files (usually, but not always, source
code). CVS only stores the differences between versions, instead of
every version of every file you have ever created. CVS also keeps a log
of who, when, and why changes occurred.
initscripts
The initscripts package contains the basic system scripts used to boot
your Trustix Secure Linux system, change runlevels, and shut the system
down cleanly. Initscripts also contains the scripts that activate and
deactivate most network interfaces.
mod_security
ModSecurity is an open source intrusion detection and prevention
engine for web applications. It operates embedded into the web server,
acting as a powerful umbrella - shielding web applications from
attacks.
mrtg
The Multi Router Traffic Grapher (MRTG) is a tool to monitor the traffic
load on network links. MRTG generates HTML pages containing PNG images
which provide a LIVE visual representation of this traffic.
php
PHP is an HTML-embedded scripting language. PHP attempts to make it easy
for developers to write dynamically generated web pages. PHP also offers
built-in database integration for several commercial and non-commercial
database management systems, so writing a database-enabled web page with
PHP is fairly simple. The most common use of PHP coding is probably as a
replacement for CGI scripts. The mod_php module enables the Apache web
server to understand and process the embedded PHP language in web pages.
quagga
Quagga is a free software that manages TCP/IP based routing protocol.
It takes multi-server and multi-thread approach to resolve the current
complexity of the Internet.
setup
The setup package contains a set of important system configuration and
setup files, such as passwd, group, and profile.
Problem description:
anaconda < TSL 2.2 >
- Increase ramdisk size on PXE and netboot. Fixes loading of many moldules
at the same time. Typically the RAID and filesystem modules.
cvs < TSL 3.0 > < TSL 2.2 >
- Added missing disable=yes in xinetd.d/cvspserver
- Added missing %config(noreplace) in xinetd.d/cvspserver
initscripts < TSL 3.0 >
- Fixed USB error on boot, Bug #1295.
mod_security < TSL 3.0 >
- Initial Entry into TSL 3.0
mrtg < TSL 3.0 > < TSL 2.2 >
- Now PreReq: chkconfig shadow-utils
php < TSL 3.0 >
- Added pspell support. Bug #1299.
quagga < TSL 3.0 >
- Initial Entry into TSL 3.0
setup < TSL 3.0 >
- Changed postgresql home directory to /var/lib/postgresql in setup-passwd.
Action:
We recommend that all systems with this package installed be upgraded.
Please note that if you do not need the functionality provided by this
package, you may want to remove it from your system.
