I'm attempting to compile Enlightenment e17 on a Dell Optiplex GX270
running TSL 3.0 (http://www.cs.westminster.edu/folding for pics/specs)
and getting some errors while starting a build from CVS using an
autogen.sh. I've swuped all of the needed libs - they are up to date.

However, TSL 3.0's automake packages are quite old. After some
Googling, I found that the errors I'm recieving are generally because of
older versions of automake. Automake 1.8.5, the version of the current
automake package for TSL 3.0, was released 2004-05-16. The current
version, 1.9.6, was released 2005-07-10, shortly after TSL 3.0 came out
(2005-07-05).

I'm not squeamish about compiling things if I need to, but has anyone
found a need for a newer automake and made an RPM? Or, and I say this
knowing the answer to mostly likely be no, could the package be upgraded
to a newer version?

If not, I'll just build it myself.
