Yep it works. But since GSX is targeted for running multiple (mission 
critical) virtual machines you should think about "what if i have problems 
with the GSX Server and VMWare refuses to support me 'cause i use an 
unsupported host OS..." :-)

PS.: Try ESX. Better performance, stand-alone OS, resource mangement...
