Problem solved. Sorry for the inconvinience I downloaded the 1.4.5 release from squirrelmail.org I applied both 2 patches (first the imap one) from squirrel mail tracker at sf.net http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1237160&group_id=311&atid=423679 and now its working just fine! I now can receive mails from the outer world, receive mail locally and then either local and in the rest of the "internet" I cannot send to other servers but I hope to solve this Thanks again and I am sorry if I bother you.
