I've installed TSL3 as guest in VMware workstation 5.5. I then installed
the vmware-tools package (rpm file). When I try to install/configure the
system to use vmware drivers, using vmware-config-tools.pl script I'm
asked if I want to compile the drivers since vmware can not find a
supported precompiled driver. I say yes and it starts to compile, well
at least it tries to, but fails rather quickly. TSL 3 was installed
using minimal+local utils+network utils group. Then I swup-installed
make, gcc, kernel-headers and kernel-sources which
vmware-config-tools.pl asked for.

Have anyone gotten the script to compile the drivers?

it fails with a few "no such file or directory" and "can't open perl
script":

Makefile:312:
/usr/src/kernel-headers-2.6.14.2-2tr/scripts/Kbuild.include: No such
file or directory
Makefile:530: /usr/src/kernel-headers-2.6.14.2-2tr/arch/i386/Makefile:
No such file or directory
Can't open perl script
"/usr/src/kernel-headers-2.6.14.2-2tr/scripts/setlocalversion": No such
file or directory
make[1]: *** No rule to make target
'/usr/src/kernel-headers-2.6.14.2-2tr/arch/i386/Makefile'. Stop.
