Oh, forgive me! Pear didnt need upgrade to the latest version First, I had zend compability for php 4.x on. It should be Off and after doing something like this (taken from .bash_history) pear install Log Mail Mail_Mime pear install Net_SMTP DB pear install PEAR pear install Archive_Tar Console_Getopt pear install PEAR pear install DB pear upgrade-all pear install DB dont forget pear install File Or just I could say to install everything horde needs and every dependency needing for these.
chmod -R 755 horde directory and chmod 777 the config file to be writable directly from the interface (for ease of use later do it what ever you want) It worked! ah, dont forget to restart apache. I first forgot it and I was wondering why it doesnt work.... Its like building a car and now I cant learn how to drive it. I am confused with the Authentication options. I dont know what exactly to do to make it work withh the /etc/passwd file. It has option but when I try to login with a username/pass from this file It gives me an error. Any other form of authentication that could work?
