why the latest kernel verison not equal the kernel source version in TSL 2.2

hello,list.
     In the TSL 2.2,the latest kernel is 2.4.31-7tr,but the kernel
source is 2.4.31-6tr. so I can't install the vmware tools driver in
it. when can download the 2.4.31-7tr kernel source ?
