Well, I don't know. I do know that nobody uses the heartbeat-ldirector 
at least:
['heartbeat-ldirectord'] is missing the resource ipvsadm
['heartbeat-ldirectord'] is missing the resource perl-ldap

I guess your new packages will fix this. :)

Depending on feedback, both these solutions seems ok.

Community contribs is just that, contributions at the discretion of the 
community. If nobody objects the next couple of days, you should be fine 
going for number 1.

However, I would send this mail to tsl-contrib-discuss as well, to make 
sure everyone gets it.
