I am replacing a mail server that have an ASUS P4P800-X mother board with a (new) HP Proliant ML110. If I use a single ATA disk I have "hdparm -t /dev/hdX" that report values around 55-60 MB/sec If I use a SATA disk I have 2-4 MB/sec (both on the SATA and to the ATA drives). Playing with hdparm I obtain 8-10 MB/sec, better, but ... I think it is a driver issue. How can I find the chipset and the related driver for this m.b.?
Thanks, B. N.B.1: Same issue using IBM xSeries 206 N.B.2: CentOS 4.x tried in one of this box give 55-60 MB/sec N.B.3: Tried both with TSL 2.2 than TSL3.0; same result; I am interested in TSL 2.2 (kernel 2.4). _______________________________________________ tsl-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.trustix.org/mailman/listinfo/tsl-discuss
