I use the PCI-X intel, and it is fast ....
generally I would rather think that all linux supported 1000Base-TX  
Adapters work with trustix, since there are only a few chipsets, and  
the drivers are mostly available in the kernel distribution.

ps: some cheapo gigabit adapters (early ones sold cheap now) had  
problems with broadcast traffic, so appletalk only worked reliable  
when promiscious mode was switched on permanently, so make sure you  
get an up-to-date version of the card when buying.
