It represents a new approach to logical volume management for Linux. The architecture introduces a plug-in model that allows for easy expansion and customization of various levels of volume management. lvm2 LVM2 includes all of the support for handling read/write operations on physical volumes (hard disks, RAID-Systems, magneto optical, etc., multiple devices (MD), see mdadd(8) or even loop devices, see losetup(8)), creating volume groups (kind of virtual disks) from one or more physical volumes and creating one or more logical volumes (kind of logical partitions) in volume groups. vsftpd vsftpd is a Very Secure FTP daemon. It was written completely from scratch. Problem description: device-mapper < TSL 3.0 > - New Upstream. - dmsetup* path changed to /sbin. evms < TSL 3.0 > - Rebuilt against updated device-mapper. lvm2 < TSL 3.0 > - Rebuilt against updated device-mapper. vsftpd < TSL 3.0 > - New Upstream. Action: We recommend that all systems with this package installed be upgraded. Please note that if you do not need the functionality provided by this package, you may want to remove it from your system.
