Oops. I used the wrong email to send the original message.. Anyway..
Here's my problem in a nutshell. The USB device (Lexar Jumpdrive Secure
512MB) is no longer functioning. It's my own fault. Not a Linux problem
whatsoever, but figured maybe someone would know the answer. I get the
error "not a valid block device" and in dmesg it says "waiting for
device to settle before scan" or something to that effect. I had it
connected to the hub (front USB ports) on my girlfriend's computer when
I connected the hub to the motherboard. Then, winblows said
"unrecognized USB device" or something similar, and now I get this error
on Linux. Anybody know how to flash/reset a jumpdrive? I am hoping
that's all I need to do as I don't have the money to go and replace it
and I use it all the time. Thanks in advance.
