Hello List,

I'm running TSL 3.0.5.
I did a "swup --list-upgrade | tail -1" and compared the output with the
string "Your system is uo to date." but never got a match.
Using od i found some strange output of swup:
-----------------
odilo #swup --list-upgrade | od -c
0000000 V e r i f y i n g p a c k a g
0000020 e s . \n D o n e v e r i f y i
0000040 n g p a c k a g e s . \n \r Y o
0000060 u r s y s t e m i s u p
0000100 t o d a t e . \n
odilo #swup --list-upgrade | od -x
0000000 6556 6972 7966 6e69 2067 6170 6b63 6761
0000020 7365 0a2e 6f44 656e 7620 7265 6669 6979
0000040 676e 7020 6361 616b 6567 2e73 0d0a 6f59
0000060 7275 7320 7379 6574 206d 7369 7520 2070
0000100 6f74 6420 7461 2e65 000a
-------------------------------
In line 40 (od -x) : 2e73 0d0a 6f59 is an additional "0d". Is it necessary?

odilo #swup --list-upgrade | tail -1 | awk '{print $1}' | od -c
0000000 \r Y o u r \n

This certainly is a minor issue an i can workaround it; maybe in the
next revision of swup someone will have a look on it.

Thanks, Florian
