Well it's out and it had the same general effect on my machine... disaster. After
finally figuring out that all of my problems were with the motherboard's Parallel port
I finally got Mandrake 8.0 beta1 installed. This is definitely bleeding edge. I'd
suggest waiting until 8.1 unless you really need 2.4 or XFree 4.0.2.
