Does anyone know why using VNC over SSH would make things so slow? If I use SSH port forwarding to access the VNC Java/Web client: 1. the web/java interface takes forever to load and is extremely sluggish to use 2. the ssh terminal window because very sluggish If I use SSH port forwarding to access the VNC native client, it takes a very long time to establish the connection but then performs well (at least on my LAN).
