Anyone really big into the gimp? I have an image editing challenge. I have a picture that I would like to touch up. Because of lighting, the left side of the picture is slightly darker than the right, and I would like to balance the picture some. Since the right side is fine, the usual brightness controls are not appropriate since they brighten the whole picture. What I would like is a filter or script that applies the brightness filter to the picture in a (linearly) weighted fashion, so it can gradually apply more as it moves left across the photo.
