Well
 ipcs -l
Shows that the parameters that don't have corresponding "files" in
/proc/sys/kernel are in line with Ora's demands, so I won't worry about
it.

I didn't have much luck with googlegroups searches concerning what to do
if one wanted to change a parameter that doesn't have a corresponding
file in /proc/sys/kernel, so I guess the answer would be, edit the
source and recompile.
E.g.,
 echo 1 > /proc/sys/kernel/shmmin
Doesn't work.

FYI.

I would try a google search on the terms semvmx, installing, oracle,
linux and see if anything comes up. If you don't find anything, I'd
probably take a chance and assume it will be fine.
