Hi all,
This may be more of idea for next year, but just now I had the idea of
making the group shirt open source, kind of. We could design the graphics
that will go on to it (using gimp) and write some general instructions
about how to apply them to the shirt.

As for distribution, I had several ideas
1.) Collect everything into a tar ball an put it on the internet to be
    downloaded.
2.) Offer everything on a floppy, if it will fit, or a cd for cost plus
what ever margin is agreed on.
3.) Offer everything on a floppy or cd and include a blank shirt and a
couple of sheets of transfer paper, again for cost plus margin.

This approach would have several advantages
1.) It doesn't require a big investment in time or money, and
more can easily be produced later without changing the cost
    of the shirts that much.
2.) This approach is more consistant with the open source philosophy and
might catch on because of its novelty if nothing else.
3.) This approch would allow individuals to customize their own shirt by
choosing what ever color they want or by adding text or other
graphics. It also means that we don't have to settle on a single
design and could include in the package several suggested
    configurations.
4.) It might attarct people that otherwise wouldn't want a shirt and could
help promote the organization by making it more visible.

Finally here are some random ideas for content/designs to consider
1.) Penguin on the front top 10 reasons to use Linux on the back.
2.) From Think Geek: <geek> </geek> tags.
3.) Body Builder tux "The Powerful Penguin"
4.) "It's not software if it's not source code" featuring a penguin made
out of a section of kernel source.

Just some ideas,
