In one sense, Don has a point. Two points, tho -- in the realm of computer
practicalities, anyone who runs, or wants to run, a "minority" OS such as
Linux must somehow or other HANDLE the "Big Boys" -- the Billy Goats Gruff
such as Microsoft -- in order to clear enough room for her/himself to get
across the bridge.
And even more important -- I have spent moments here sitting
before my computer terminal, warming my hands and heart at the
thoughtfulness and the care my fellow-members of TSLUG have offered to this
stranger who knocked on our door.
