I promised a link for the brutal quick start to gpg. It is at:
  http://vh224401.truman.edu/pub/linux/tslug/pgp.xhtml

Let me take this opportunity in general to plug my "pub" link:
  http://vh224401.truman.edu/pub/
which has most of my local archives, including:

 - Recent 2.4 and 2.2 Linux kernels (or patchfiles)
 - The 7 Debian install CDs as .iso files
 - A 4.3gig Debian install DVD
 - The most recent OpenOffice
 - The LinuxCare bootable toolkit
 - My TSLUG talk outlines

And a load of no-cost or free win32 software.

For those using Samba or running win32 systems, you can also
share me at: //vh224401/pub (reverse the slashes as necessary).

Since it was asked, I am also running a partial Debian mirror.
If you use Debian and live on the Truman network, add to the top
of your /etc/apt/sources.list file:

deb http://vh224401.truman.edu/debian woody contrib main non-free
deb http://vh224401.truman.edu/debian woody/non-US main non-free
