Dear Reader,
Unless your iPod's foam earbud covers got stuck in your ears,
you've probably heard that Steve Jobs, Bono, and The Edge are
getting together for a little fun at the California Theatre
in San Jose next Tuesday morning. I'm sure Steve has more to
talk about than a 60GB iPod, and we're all looking forward to
hearing about the next big thing in music.
Even those of us who will be at the Mac OS X Conference that
same morning, right up the road in Santa Clara. We don't have
Steve Jobs on stage, but we do have a killer digital audio
program featuring Apple's Xander Soren and the incomparable
Stewart Copeland.
http://conferences.oreilly.com/macosxcon
We won't be announcing the next big thing in music, but we'll
certainly show you how to leverage it for fun and profit. And
if you have interests in programming, scripting, system
administration, and hacking the Mac, well, ain't nobody better
than us to show it to you.
Oh, and just one more thing. In case you weren't invited to
the RSVP event at the California Theatre on Tuesday morning,
you can come by our place. We'll be providing a full analysis
of the event with our music experts... right after we serve
a gourmet lunch by the pool.
Hope to see you in Santa Clara,
-Derrick

Migrating to Page Controllers
Simple web apps can start simple, but when they grow more
complex, they often need pruning and refactoring to be
maintainable. The Page Controller design pattern can help
separate concerns such as templates and logic. Ethan McCallum
