Most of the technology buyer who are looking for dual-core laptop will
perform roughly the same as the rest, and then what factor do you base
your final purchasing decision upon? Price is probably involved, but you
should also consider how easy life will be should your purchase ever
break down.

In order for hp to improve their Customer service and warranties, we
need so see first what does the completion offers.


Dell
Laptops Warentiey:

Dell warenty is 3 years in most of the laptops models, they offer
Pickupand drop cervice for its custmers, the warenty is standard in wich
it covers the parts that need repars in a condition of normal usage, the
warenty also can be extended to 5 Years.

For Desktop the warenty is One year so far.


•Strength: •1-Most of the models 3 years. •2- Pickup service
in the next business day for some countries. •3- The standard
warranty covers defective components under normal usage.. •4- 
Warranty Can be  Upgraded up to 5 years.     •Weakness: •1-Some
Comments are said about the poor Customer Service. •2- Time Issues
with the laptop that needs repairing, it needs longer time than
expected.      •opportunities: •1- Very Easy to overcome their
obstacles which is bad customer service and time duration .    
•threats: •1- some of the Competition are giving better quality
of warranties. •2- Similar or better Warranties from the
competitors.





Toshiba Warranty
Laptops warranty:



Toshiba's laptops are covered by a one-year international limited
carry-in warranty, so if something happened to the laptop you have to go
and give it to their warranty service shops and take it from there, also
the warranty can be upgraded up to 4 years.






•Strength: •1- Pickup service for some countries (UAE, Lebanon,
Egypt and Saudi Arabia for GPS customers ONLY. ) •2- The standard
warranty covers defective components under normal usage.. •3- 
Warranty Can be  Upgraded up to 4 years.     •Weakness: •1- Not
covered are defects by external force, abuse or incorrectly connected
external devices or damages caused through the intervention of
non-authorised service providers. •2-Some Comments are said about
the poor Customer Service.     •opportunities: •1-  Improve
their warranty by comparing the brand to the competitors.    
•Threats: •1- some of the Competition are giving better quality
of warranties. •2- Similar or better Warranties from the
competitors.

Acer Warranty
Laptops Warranty:

Acer warenty is 1 years in most of the laptops models, they offer
Pickupand drop cervice for its custmers but I selected contries UAE, and
Suadi Arabia only.

Also Acer is facing a network problem you, login to Middle East website
is not working J.




•Strength: •1- Acer's standard warranty is valid for a year. The
'Collect, Repair and Return' warranty (included as standard) is
applicable for the UAE and Saudi Arabia only within 5 days. •2- 
Extended warranty available for 2 years for approximately 100$.    
•Weakness: •1- the rest of the gulf is not sported by pick-up
service.     •opportunities: •1-  Applying pick and drop for the
rest of the Gulf.     •threats: •1- some of the Competition are
giving better quality of warranties. •2- Similar or better
Warranties from the competitors.









Lenovo Warranty


  Laptop Warranty:

Lenovo provides a warranty period of three years on parts and 1year on
labor.






•Strength: • Lenovo provides a warranty period of three years on
parts and 1year on labor, which means that the company provides free
warranty services for: •Parts and labor during the first 3years of
warranty Parts only, on an exchange basis, in the second and third year
of the warranty period.      •Weakness: •1- Not Including labor
for the rest of the 2 years. •2- Not very technical Customer service
(by calling them directly).     •opportunities: •1-  need to
look for the completion offers and start applying them.    
•threats: •1- some of the Competition are giving better quality
of warranties. •2- Similar or better Warranties from the
competitors. •3- Customer service needs a lot of training.



Hewlett Packard
Laptop Warranty:

Hp offers 1 or 2 Years limited international warranty for the laptops
depending on the models.










•Strength: •1-1 or 2 years warranty. •2- Carepack offers.
•3- Improving customer service.



•opportunities: •1-adding a full international warranty instead
of limited one. •2- Offering 3 years warranty. •3- Offer Pick
and Drop service. •4- Decreasing the price for the Carepack, and
emphasize more on in by marketing it. •5- Improve the service for
Emitac and Redengton. •6- Calling the Customers on regular basis to
know their feedback.



•Weakness: •1-No Pick and drop service. •2- Carepack is more
expensive towards what completion offers.  •3- a lot of complains
from the customers regarding the service from Emitac or Redingtoon.
•4- improve the customer service quality by more technical training.

•threats: •1- some of the Competition are giving better quality
of warranties. •2- Similar or better Warranties from the
competitors.
